Vitalades ( Greek Βιταλάδες ( m. Pl. )) Is a village in the southeast of the Greek island of Corfu . Together with Gardenos it forms the local community of the same name ( Τοπική Κοινότητα Βιταλάδων Topikí Kinótita Vitaládon ) in the municipality of Lefkimmi in the municipality of Kerkyra and has a total of 524 inhabitants.

Structure and population development

Vitalades was founded in 1948 by separating from Perivoli as a rural community. Gardenos was recognized as a settlement in 1991. In the course of the municipal reform in 1997 , Vitalades was incorporated into Lefkimmi, which in 2011 became part of the new municipality of Kerkyra .
