Vitalie Gheorghiță ( Cyrillic : Виталий Георгицэ; * February 21, 1982 ) is a Moldovan track and field athlete , summer biathlete and cross-country runner .

Vitalie Gheorghiță is the twin brother of Viorel Gheorghiță . At the Summer Biathlon European Championships in Bansko in 2008 he was ninth despite nine shooting errors, in the mass start race he improved to seventh despite 16 errors. In the relay race, he finished fifth with Irina Omelciuc , Dimitria Ciobanu and his brother. At the Moldovan Indoor Championships in 2009 he won the 1500 meter title. At the White Cross Country Championship in Belgrade he won the 8-kilometer cross-country run in front of Mirko Petrovic and his brother that same year.
