Vitalis publishing house

The Vitalis publishing house was founded in 1993 and is the only German-language publisher in Prague . In the publishing program, Czech ( Jan Neruda , Božena Němcová ), German ( Gustav Meyrink , Oskar Wiener ), Jewish ( Franz Kafka , Oskar Baum ) and Austrian ( Adalbert Stifter , Marie von Ebner-Eschenbach ) authors are presented as common carriers of Bohemian literature. In August 2002 the Vitalis publishing house in Prague fell victim to a flood disaster, and in September 2002 publishing activities were fully resumed.
