Vitus Heinze

Vitus Heinze (born March 18, 1909 in Elberfeld ; † February 2, 1988 ) was a German politician ( CDU ) and former member of the Hessian state parliament .

Vitus Heinze attended grammar school, graduated from high school in 1928 and completed a two-year commercial apprenticeship. From 1935 he worked as a self-employed businessman. In addition, he worked on a voluntary basis in the Catholic Young Men’s Association in Wuppertal-Elberfeld. During the Nazi era , he was persecuted. In 1944 its operation was shut down.

Vitus Heinze had been a member of the CDU since 1945 and a community representative in Schröck for his party since the first free local elections in Hesse in 1946 . From May 3, 1949 (as a replacement for Siegfried Ruhl ) to November 30, 1950 he was a member of the Hessian state parliament. In the state parliament he was deputy chairman of the reconstruction committee.
