Vladas Vilimas
Vladas Vilimas (born October 27, 1928 in Mikalajūnai , Rajongemeinde Pakruojis ) is a Lithuanian politician .
Life
After graduating from high school in Linkuva near Pakruojis in 1947 , Vladas Vilimas completed his diploma studies at the Faculty of Mechanization of the Lietuvos žemės ūkio akademija in 1952 and from 1953 studied pedagogy at the Timirjasew Agricultural Academy in Moscow , from 1957 in the traineeship , then obtained his doctorate and habilitation. In 1952 he worked as an engineer in Papilė near Akmenė . From 1955 he taught at Vilniaus žemės ūkio mechanizacijos technikumas and then at the LŽŪA as a professor . From 1996 to 2000 he was a member of the Seimas .
Vladas Vilimas was a member of Sąjūdis , from 1993 of Tėvynės sąjunga .
