Vladimír Bahna
Vladimír Bahna (born July 25, 1914 in Schemnitz, today Banská Štiavnica , Austria-Hungary , † October 19, 1977 in Bratislava ) was a Slovak film director and screenwriter.
Life
Bahna made several documentaries and feature films, which dealt in particular with rural Slovakia in the period before the Second World War . He also worked under the pseudonym L. Sirius .
He was awarded the State Prize of the ČSSR and as a national artist.
