Guilt ( English for guilt ) is an American television series. It was broadcast by Freeform from June 13, 2016 and was inspired by the case of Amanda Knox and the murder of Meredith Kercher . The series was discontinued after just one season. In German-speaking countries, the series has been available from the video-on-demand provider Netflix since April 18, 2017 .

Grace Atwood is an American student in London whose roommate Molly Ryan is murdered. When people start suspecting her, they start accusing her and she becomes the prime suspect of the crime. Grace's sister, Natalie, stands by her sister at all costs, but doesn't know whether to believe what Grace is saying. While London police investigate the murder, members of the high-end Courtenay sex club continue to spend their explicit and secret evenings with prostitutes, which is why there are many suspected of murdering Molly.
