Vladimir Karapetoff

Vladimir Karapetoff (born January 8, 1876 in Saint Petersburg , † January 11, 1948 ) was an American author, musician and professor of electrical engineering of Russian origin.

His parents were Nikita Karapetoff and Anna (Ivanova).

He became professor of electrical engineering at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.

On August 2, 1904, he married Frances Lulu Gillmor.

In 1920 and 1924 he was a candidate for the New York State Engineer and Surveyor . In 1932 he ran for the New York Senate in the 41st district .
