Vlado Popović
Vladimir "Vlado" Popović ( Cyrillic Владимир Владо Поповић ; born January 27, 1914 in Gornji Brčeli near Bar , Kingdom of Montenegro ; † April 1, 1972 in London ) was a Yugoslav politician in the Union of Communists of Yugoslavia .
After the Balkan campaign , Popović organized resistance in Croatia against the occupiers from Italy and the German Empire . After the Union of Communists of Yugoslavia came to power , he took on several political leadership positions in the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia .
