Vlastimil Vojtěch Deym ze Stříteže
Count Vlastimil Vojtěch Deym ze Stříteže (* December 5, 1812 , † 1863 ) was a Czech nobleman and politician.
Life
He came from the old Bohemian noble house Deym . In March 1848 he was elected chairman of the Saint Wenceslas Committee and in 1848 deputy chairman of the National Council.
Although he belonged to the aristocratic wing, he published the liberal national newspaper ( Národní noviny ), in which among others Karel Havlíček Borovský worked. He also represented his circle in the parliament in Kroměříž . After its dissolution in 1849, he withdrew from active politics.
