The Voit Peak is an approximately 750 m high mountain on the Loubet coast of Graham lands north of the Antarctic Peninsula . It looms between the Drummond and Hopkins glaciers .
Aerial photographs were taken between 1956 and 1957 during the Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition . The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the mountain in 1960 after the German physiologist Carl von Voit (1831-1908), who in 1881 wrote a standard work on the human calorie requirement with physiology of general metabolism and nutrition .
