history

The basis for the Voith Revita Twin 1700 CC is a diesel locomotive built in 1963 by Klöckner-Humboldt-Deutz . The DG 2000 CCM machine was used as the 2000 91 CELLE until 2000 for the East Hanoverian Railways . The superstructures of the locomotive were scrapped in Celle in November 2004 ; The frame, gears and bogies were sold to a dealer in 2005 and transferred to Giessen . In May 2007 the transfer to Voith in Kiel followed, where the renovation work began. The new structure was completed in 2008, followed by test drives on the Voith test track in Kiel. The commissioning of the Voith Revita is dated July 7, 2011. The orange painted locomotive is owned by the Northrail leasing company and has so far been leased to CFL Cargo Germany and the railways of the city of Monheim , among others .
