Vojin Dimitrijević
Vojin Dimitrijević ( Serbian - Cyrillic Војин Димитријевић ; born July 9, 1932 in Fiume ; † October 5, 2012 in Belgrade ) was a Yugoslav-Serbian human rights activist and international law expert .
biography
Dimitrijević was born on July 9, 1932 in Rijeka. His father was a diplomat and his mother a professor. He completed his education in Belgrade, where he received his doctorate in 1965. He started his career as a Yugoslav civil servant. 1959–1960 he worked at the Institute for International Politics and Economics . He then worked as a law professor at the Law Faculty of Belgrade University until 1998 .
From 1995 he headed the Belgrade Center for Human Rights, a human rights organization directed against Slobodan Milošević .
He was married and had a son.
