Volker Boehme-Neßler

Volker Boehme-Neßler (born September 28, 1962 in Ludwigsburg ) is a German legal scholar .

Life

Volker Boehme-Neßler studied law and political science in Berlin and at the University of Heidelberg . In 1993 he received his doctorate in both rights at the University of Heidelberg on the subject of European directive law transforms German administrative law : a contribution to the Europeanization of German law . In 1997 he received his doctorate in political science in Berlin with a dissertation on European decision-making: the political groups in the European Parliament between national interests, party politics and European integration . From 1993 to 1997 Boehme-Neßler worked as a lawyer in Berlin and Wiesbaden . From 1998 to 2014 he was professor for European law , public commercial law and media law at the Berlin University of Applied Sciences (HTW Berlin). In 2008 he completed his habilitation at the University of Kassel on the subject: Unclear Law: Considerations for the relativization of law in the digitized world . In 2014 he was appointed to the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg , where he teaches public law as well as media and telecommunications law.
