Volker Ellenberger
Volker Ellenberger (* 1964 in Osnabrück ) is a German church musician and organist .
Ellenberger studied church music in Berlin on a scholarship from the Pradé Foundation. He completed postgraduate studies at the Conservatoire Royal in Brussels and in Saarbrücken with Wolfgang Rübsam . Since 1991 he has worked as a church musician at the Protestant Church of St. Johannis in Mainz , where he also taught at the Peter Cornelius Conservatory until 1997 . Concert tours have taken him to many European countries and the USA. Since 2003 he has been a lecturer for music at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz , Department of Music.
