Volker Huber (born February 4, 1941 in Offenbach am Main ) is a German gallery owner, publisher, author and historian.

Life

Volker Huber was born the son of a small leather manufacturer from Offenbach. After graduating from high school, he first studied economics and graduated with a diploma. After a short period of employment with the Union of German Federal Railroad Officials, he soon turned to the fine arts. At the same time, he has been fascinated by the art of magic since he was nine, which he researches and which he regularly publishes. His collection of magical exhibits is recognized far beyond Germany's borders. In 1988 Huber was honored by the Magic Circle of Germany with the title of Writer of the Year .

Company history

In 1969 Volker Huber founded the Huber Edition and Gallery. Her focus is on the edition of original graphics and sculptures. In addition to his editing activities, Volker Huber runs a gallery in which he shows print editions and sculptures as well as one-offs on 240 square meters. The gallery focuses on contemporary figurative art and classical modernism.
