Volker Kischkel

Volker Kischkel (* 1953 in Lobberich ) is a German cartoonist and lives in Bremen . He publishes his cartoons under the name Mock .

Life

From 1975 to 1983 he studied fine arts at the University of Fine Arts in Braunschweig . His works have been shown at several exhibitions, including the German Caricature Prize in Dresden, the International Cartoon Festival in Aachen and the gallery for drawing art "The Red Penguin" in Cologne. He has published in Stern , Cicero , Pathologie, Eulenspiegel , Titanic , Nebelspalter and Westzeit.

In 2010 the third prize of the German Caricature Prize went to Volker Kischkel for his caricature Twitter . In 2013 he received the second prize for his cartoon God . In 2015 he won the 2nd prize at the German Prize for Political Caricature .
