Volker Koerdt

Volker Koerdt (born October 1, 1954 ) is a German motor journalist and editor-in-chief of the Auto Zeitung .

After studying German and geography at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg , Koerdt initially worked as a freelancer at SWF1 and the Badische Zeitung . Following a traineeship at Motor Presse Stuttgart , he became an editor at Motorrad , then editor-in-chief of PS and moped - the young motorcycle magazine .

From 1999 to 2002 Koerdt was editor-in-chief of the magazines Audio stereoplay , autohifi and Connect .

Volker Koerdt moved to the Bauer Media Group in 2002 and became editor-in-chief of the Auto Zeitung . He thus succeeded Günter Wiechmann.

In 2010 he also took over the management of the publishing house.
