Volker Sielaff (* 1966 in Großröhrsdorf ) is a German writer.

life and work

Volker Sielaff made his debut in 2003 with the volume of poetry postcard for Nefertiti . Poems have been published in anthologies (including the Jahrbuch der Lyrik ) and literary magazines since 1990 and translated into English, French, Italian, Danish, Czech, Polish, Hungarian and Arabic. Sielaff also writes reviews and literary portraits, which are published in daily newspapers such as Dresdner Neue Nachrichten and Tagesspiegel as well as the literary magazine Language in the Technical Age . In 2007 he was awarded the Lessing Prize of the Free State of Saxony , and in 2015 he received an honorary gift from the German Schiller Foundation in Marbach. He was a member of the Advisory Board for Literature of the Cultural Foundation of the Free State of Saxony and is a co-founder of the Dresden Literature Forum

Volker Sielaff lives in Dresden .
