Volker Stümke

Volker Stümke (born July 2, 1960 in Hamburg ) is a German Protestant theologian and social ethicist .

Life

Stümke studied Protestant theology and philosophy in Hamburg, Tübingen and Munich from 1979 to 1987. In 1987 he passed the first theological exam in Hamburg. In 1991 he was at the Theological Faculty of the University of Hamburg for Dr. theol. PhD. In 1992 the second theological exam followed in Kiel.

Then he was a lecturer in Hamburg. He also served from 1993 to 1995 Pastor at the Northelbian job of DEKD in Munich and Hamburg and from 1996 to 1998 at the St. Thomas Church in Elmshorn. He was one of the organizers of the German Evangelical Church Congress . In 2007 he completed his habilitation in systematic theology at the Wuppertal Church University.

Since 1998 he has been a lecturer in Protestant social ethics at the leadership academy of the Bundeswehr in Hamburg. He has been a private lecturer since 2007, and in 2010 he became an adjunct professor for systematic theology at the Wuppertal / Bethel Church University .

He is married and has three children.
