Volksbank eG Konstanz was founded in 1862.

In 1962, in the 100th business year, the business volume of 506 million DM exceeded the half-billion mark for the first time, the balance sheet total was 19.4 million DM (ten times as much as 1949), and total deposits were 17 million DM.
