A volleyball is the play equipment of the team sport of the same name .

Shape and dimensions

A volleyball is spherical and consists of a soft leather or plastic cover. Inside it contains a bladder made of rubber or similar material. The ball can be one color and light, or it can be a combination of colors. The circumference must be 65 to 67 cm and the weight 260 to 280 g. The internal pressure is 294.3 to 318.82 mbar.

Manufacturing

A volleyball is made in the same way as a soccer ball . The balls for indoor volleyball are often glued, while those for beach volleyball are sewn.

There are different official match balls for international and national volleyball competitions.

International

Germany
