Otto von der Gablentz Prize

The Otto-von-der-Gablentz price (Dutch: Otto von der Gablentz-prijs ) is a Dutch award that since 1994 every two years from the-Gablentz Prize Von (Stichting From Gablentz Prijs) Foundation awarded . The award honors a personality or organization that has made a special contribution to promoting good relations between the Netherlands and Germany or to a united Europe.

The prize money is 7,500 euros, and the winner is also presented with a work of art. The name of the award is reminiscent of the German diplomat Otto Martin von der Gablentz (1930–2007).

From 2009 on, the Otto von der Gablentz Study Prize (Otto von der Gablentz Study Prize) will also be awarded with prize money of 5,000 euros. In addition, since 2014 there has been the Otto von der Gablentz script award ( Otto von der Gablentz scriptieprijs ) for students for the best master's thesis on a European or German topic. The prize money for this is 2,500 euros.
