The Vorarlberger Ice Hockey Association (VEHV for short) is the non-profit advocacy group for all clubs in the state of Vorarlberg whose members are active in ice hockey and inline hockey. The VEHV is an autonomous member of the Austrian Ice Hockey Association (short form ÖEHV) and is subordinate to its statutes. The full name of the club is Landesverband Vorarlberg of the Austrian Ice Hockey Association .

Story and purpose

The VEHV was founded on August 4, 1954 as an autonomous regional association of the Austrian Ice Hockey Association. Its tasks include the regulation, supervision and promotion of ice hockey (youth, competitive and popular sport) and inline hockey in Vorarlberg, as well as the representation of Vorarlberg ice hockey and inline hockey in dealings with the ÖEHV and other state associations

organization structure

The Vorarlberg ice hockey association organizes the national leagues VEHL1 - 4 as well as the Vorarlberg junior championships U14, U11, U9 and U7 in different versions (LTP, longitudinal / lateral).

The highest (co-organized) league in the Vorarlberg area is the elite league, which is operated jointly with the Tyrolean Ice Hockey Association.
