VEU Feldkirch (since 1977)

The Vorarlberghalle is an ice rink in the Tosters district of the district capital Feldkirch in the Austrian state of Vorarlberg . The operator is the municipal leisure company Feldkirch GmbH .

The hall was built in 1977 and offers space for 5,200 visitors, making it the second largest ice rink in Austria after the Erste Bank Arena . In the course of the renovation in 2000, the standing room was moved from the west stand to the south curve and the capacity was reduced from 6,000 spectators to today's capacity. In 2018 the boards of the ice rink were renewed and a video wall and goal cameras were installed.

The hall is the home of the nine-time Austrian ice hockey champion VEU Feldkirch . VEU plays in the second highest division in Austria, the Alps Hockey League. The unofficial attendance record with around 8,000 spectators dates back to January 25, 1998, the final of the European Hockey League .
