operations. Journal for Citizens' Rights and Social Policy is a quarterly publication that first appeared in 1962. From year 12 (1973) the expenses are also counted continuously.

It was from the process e. V. and until the merger of the two civil rights associations in 2009, it was published jointly with the Gustav Heinemann Initiative and the Humanist Union and has been published by the Berliner Wissenschaftsverlag since 2006 . In 2002, Schmidt Perodicals published a reprint of the earlier editions. Since the merger decision in 2009, the magazine has been owned by vorgangs e. V. and the Humanist Union , since issue 3/2012 it has been self-published by the Humanist Union .

The responsible editors are Claudia Krieg and Sven Lüders (as of 2016). Authors were among many others: Erhard Eppler , Ossip K. Flechtheim , Joachim Perels , Gesine Schwan , Jürgen Seifert , Karl F. Schumann , Wolfgang Bittner .
