The Vossloh G 400 B locomotive is a diesel-hydraulic locomotive for light and medium-weight shunting and light handover services by Vossloh Locomotives GmbH. It has been built since 2003. The G 400 B is part of the 4th model range at Vossloh, but is essentially a slightly modified MaK G 322 from the 3rd model range. In the German Vehicle Settings Register, the G 400 B was given the series number 98 80 3352, which is also used for the G 322.
The wheel arrangement is B. It has an output of 390 kW and a maximum speed of 80 km / h. Their service weight is 40 t. It achieves a starting tractive effort of 130 kN. Your tank capacity is 1000 l.
Especially for shunting operations, the locomotive is equipped with radio remote control , automatic RK900 shunting couplings , turbo reversing gear with hydrodynamic braking and constant speed control.
13 locomotives came to the Nederlandse Spoorwegen and are designated as the new 700 series. A G 400 B rented from Deutsche Bahn (DB) has the road number 352 002-0. Vogtlandbahn GmbH (Länderbahn or Netinera Germany) operates a rented G400 for shunting service in the Regentalbahn vehicle workshop in Schwandorf, Upper Palatinate, whereby the locomotive occasionally drives to Schwandorf station (in the event of a malfunction).
