style

According to progarchives.com, you can still hear classic heavy metal on Bow to the Sound . The group is heavily influenced by bands like Riverside , Porcupine Tree , Pink Floyd and Opeth . In an interview with Detlef Dengler from Metal Hammer , singer Maciej Kosiński stated that the group did not focus on the technical playing skills of the band members, but rather wanted to emphasize the music itself. According to Dengler, the focus was initially on bands like Metallica and Iron Maiden and later on Porcupine Tree and Anathema . Kosiński justified this change of style with the fact that the band wanted to process their individual influences, which would not have worked in heavy metal. Kosiński was influenced by soundtracks from films such as Mr. Brooks - The Murderer in You , The Fountain , Sling Blade - On a Knife's Edge , Gran Torino , Stay or The Libertine . Dengler wrote in his review of Metafiction in the same issue that the band plays progressive and modern music and is in the slipstream of Riverside. The songs are complex and reserved, arranged carefully, atmospherically and without unnecessary ballast. The music is comparable to that of groups like Anathema, Porcupine Tree and Riverside.
