Prothiocarb is a chemical compound from the group of thiolourethanes . The compound was introduced by Schering as a fungicide for seed treatment .

Extraction and presentation

Prothiocarb can be prepared from N , N -dimethylpropanediamine and S -ethylchlorothioformate ( phosgene + ethyl mercaptan ).

Admission

Prothiocarb was approved in the FRG from 1978 to 1983 .
