The Vrana Dome is a striking ice dome in Princess Elisabeth Land in East Antarctica . On the Ingrid Christensen coast it rises 6 km northeast of the Statler Hills on the east side of the Amery Ice Shelf .
A team from the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions built a tellurometer station here in 1968 on the traverse from the Larsemann Hills to the Reinbolt Hills . It is named after the radiation physicist Attila Vrana (* 1940) from Czechoslovakia , who worked at the Mawson station in 1968 and was involved in the measurement of the ice dome.
