Vranjina ( Cyrillic  Врањина ) is an island in Lake Skadar , belonging to the Montenegrin municipality of Podgorica .

Created by the delta of the Morača River , the island is located in the northern part of the lake. It has an area of ​​about 4.8 km² and is the highest island in Montenegro with a height of 296 m above sea level.

The island is connected to the mainland by a bridge (to Podgorica ) and to Bar by a dam that runs across the lake .
