Songs (selection)
Time (Goes On) is about life. In terms of content, it is about the fact that time continues to run and cannot be stopped or reversed. There are several musical influences in the song that the band used, such as hip-hop and electronic elements. You can also hear that singer Jason Arnold is active as a DJ . Spaceman , the sixth song on the album, is also the only song that is only played with acoustic instruments. In terms of content, the song is about escaping everyday life by fantasizing about yourself as an astronaut and enjoying the tranquility of space. Voodoo Baby is about the corruption of people through money. The money works like a voodoo magic. The Ballad of Johnny Alright is about Johnny, a person with a glorified view of life. He doesn't know what is right or wrong and good or bad. In the song, his gullibility and the manipulation of his fellow man is given as a reason. Another song on the album is “Outside, Looking In”, which is about bringing the listener closer to the different mental states that every individual can have. The song is played by an omniscient narrator .
