Vytautas Gricius

Vytautas Gricius (born November 21, 1948 in Salantai , Kretinga district ) is a Lithuanian politician , former Vice Minister and Deputy Minister of Commerce of Lithuania .

Life

After graduating from high school in Palanga in 1967, he graduated from the Lietuvos žemės ūkio akademija in Kaunas in 1972 with a degree in economics . From 1985 to 1988 he worked as a trade attaché in the Mongolian People's Republic , then Gricius worked in the Lithuanian Ministry of Commerce . From 1990 he was Deputy Minister of Commerce and from 1992 to 1993 he was Deputy Minister of International Economic Relations .

From 1995 to 2002 Gricius was a member of the board of directors of the insurance company ADB “Preventa” and director of the Vilnius branch and from 2002 to 2007 he headed the insurance company “RESO Europa” as general director and chairman of the board.

Gricius is a member of the Darbo partija . He is married; with his wife Regina he has the daughter Daiva and the son Vytautas.
