Vytautas Kaminskas
Vytautas Kaminskas (born January 8, 1946 in Kaunas ) is a Lithuanian computer scientist .
Life
After graduating from secondary school in Kaunas in 1963, he studied at the Vilniaus universitetas from 1963 and then graduated from the Kauno politechnikos institutas in 1968 with a degree in automation and telemechanics , and in 1972 he received his doctorate in Leningrad at the electrical engineering institute on the subject of "Dinaminių sistemų struktūros ir parametrų optimalaus identifikavimo teorija ir metodai ”. He has been a professor since 1984 . From 1989 to 1990 he headed the " Informatik " science center . From 1990 to 1996 he was dean of the faculty for computer science and prorector of the VDU. From 1996 to 2006 he was rector.
