Construction

The ground floor and the first floor were built in concrete as a result of the classification as a meeting place and the associated fire protection requirements, the three floors for the hotel in load-bearing solid wood construction made of spruce. The Wälderhaus is the first building in building class 5 under building regulations to be built using a load-bearing solid wood construction.
