Hans Hendrik Taube von Kudding , Count Taube (born March 18, 1698 in Stockholm , † September 11, 1766 in Stockholm) was adjutant general to Friedrich the Landgrave of Hesse-Kassel and court marshal to the later King of Sweden Friedrich (1676-1751).

Life

His military career began in 1715 as an ensign in the Hessian service. In 1717 he continued his service in the Prince Maximilian Regiment. During the Venetian-Austrian Turkish War he was adjutant general to Landgrave Friedrich von Hessen-Kassel, who later became King of Sweden . He completed other military missions in between 1718 and 1719 in Norway and around Stockholm . He left the army with the rank of lieutenant and in 1718 was appointed chamberlain to the royal court of Frederick of Hesse-Kassel . From 1720 he served as chamberlain and on November 5th King Friedrich appointed him his court marshal.

Family and offspring

Hans Henrik Taube came from the German-Baltic noble family of the von Taube ( Kudding parent company ). His father was the Swedish Imperial Councilor and Field Marshal Gustav Adam Taube von Kudding , Count Taube (1624–1695); his mother was Anna Dorothea von Fersen (1670–1752). Hans Hendrik von Taube was married to Barbo Fredericke von Albedyll , the daughter of Heinrich Otto von Albedyl (1666–1738), their descendants were:
