The Wünschberg is an elevation near Lebach in the Saarland part of the Saar-Nahe mountains . It is located east of the city center, south of the Theel at an altitude of 294 m above sea level. NN .
On December 10, 1913, an elevated tank for the city's water supply was put into operation on the Wünschberg . It replaced the Jacob's well drilled in 1858 , the use of which led to health problems.
In 1970 a Lady Chapel of the Schoenstatt Movement was built on the mountain. A building there was also inaugurated as a Schoenstatt Center in 1978. The building contains 30 rooms with 50 beds and conference rooms. Due to the need for renovation and a lack of income, the decision was made in 2017 to sell this building.
