Włodzimierz Stożek (born July 23, 1883 in Żółkiew , † July 3 or 4, 1941 in Lwów ) was a Polish mathematician from the Lviv School of Mathematics .

Stożek studied mathematics at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow and at the University of Göttingen . He received his doctorate in 1921 and became head of the mathematics faculty at the TU Lemberg . He was shot together with his two sons and other Polish professors in Lwów on July 3 or 4, 1941, shortly after the German invasion .
