The JAX is a technical conference for software development and together with the OOP one of the largest information events in the IT industry on the subject in Germany. The conference is being organized by Software & Support Media . The name JAX is an acronym for J ava , A pache and X ML .

The JAX consists of an exhibition, the so-called Jax Expo, and a conference and workshop program lasting several days. The speakers are mostly book authors, specialist journalists and IT experts.
