history

The club achieved its first success in 1994 when the men's team won their first Viennese championship title. After that, the promotion to the Handball League Austria failed because of the goal difference. In 1995 the women's team also won the Vienna championship title, but also failed when they were promoted to goal difference. In 1997 the men's team managed to win the Vienna championship again and won the promotion tournament, in the same year the women also made this step. In 2001 the men's team was relegated to the Vienna league after financial difficulties, while the women's section rose to the top Austrian league after a successful season . In the men's sector, promotion to the German handball league was achieved again in 2002. In the following year, relegation could not be achieved. In 2004 the women were relegated to the handball national league and a year later to the Wien Energie women's league. The decision from 2008 with UHC Adm. Landhaus entering into a syndicate brought the women back to Woman Handball Austria, where they played until 2010 before they were relegated to the women's handball league again. In 2012 the team rose again.
