WFEA is a talk radio station in Manchester , New Hampshire . It broadcasts for the Merrimack Valley in the Greater Boston metropolitan area .

The station went on the air in 1932 and is owned by Saga Communications through its Manchester Radio Group. At the same time, the program is also transmitted on VHF on 99.9 MHz by the converter W260CF in Manchester.

Black Knox transmission tower

The WFEA transmission mast is a Blaw Knox transmission tower built in 1931 , as it was used by many broadcasters in the USA. The transmitter and the associated transmission tower are located in Merrimack, where the WFEA broadcasting studios used to be. The structure is a smaller version of the Blaw Knox Tower by WLW Cincinnati , Ohio. WFEA transmits day and night with directional antennas for a defined reception area.
