The World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO; French Federation Mondiale des Organizations d'Ingenieurs , FMOI ) is an international non-governmental organization of all engineers worldwide. The current president is Ke Gong (* 1955) from Beijing, China.
In 1968, the organization of regional engineering associations was founded in Paris under the patronage of UNESCO . The WFEO is the only international and transcontinental engineering association that represents 15 million engineers through its national member associations.
structure
The administrative body is the General Assembly. Between the meetings of the General Assembly, all Federation matters are dealt with by the Executive Council and implemented by the Executive Board under the direction of the Executive Director. All decisions of the General Assembly, the Executive Council or the Executive Board are made by majority vote .

Conferences
The WFEO organs meet annually for the General Assembly and in the Standing Technical Committee meetings. These meetings are combined with a conference in which independent engineers or interested parties who do not belong to the member associations can also take part. Most of the time, the WFEO conferences are in September each year.
