United Nations specialized agencies
The United Nations System ( English United Nations Specialized Agencies ) are legally, organizationally and financially independent International organizations , which by the Article 63 of the Charter of the United Nations with the United Nations are connected. The cooperation of these organizations with the United Nations and among themselves is coordinated by the Economic and Social Council .

Related organizations
In addition, other international treaty-based organizations also cooperate closely with the United Nations, but the corresponding agreements are not based on Article 63 of the Charter, so that they are not specialized agencies; they are considered related organizations (Engl. related Organizations ) refers.
