The WLBT transmission mast is a 608.99 meter high guyed transmission mast for broadcasting VHF and TV programs in Raymond , Mississippi , USA . The WLBT transmission tower was completed in 1999 and is owned by Cosmos Broadcasting.
This transmission mast was built to replace a transmission mast of the same height that collapsed on October 23, 1997. When this mast collapsed, three people were killed.
