Waasland
The Waasland is a region in the east of the Belgian province of East Flanders in the Flanders region . The municipalities of Beveren , Sint-Gillis-Waas , Temse , Kruibeke and the cities of Sint-Niklaas and Lokeren are located in this region . The capital of the Waasland is Sint-Niklaas. There have always been doubts as to whether Waasmunster (south) and Moerbeke (west) belong to the Waasland region or not.
