Wabbeln , also: Groß Wabbeln , is the German name of places in East Prussia, which today belong to Lithuania, Poland and Russia:

  • in Lithuania:
    • Vabalai (Šilutė) in the district of Šilutė ( Wabbeln , Heydekrug district / East Prussia)
  • in Poland:
    • Wabbeln , historical name of the village Pabbeln , Goldap / East Prussia district, since 1945: Wobały , village in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship
  • in Russia / Kaliningrad Oblast:
    • Tschapajewo (Kaliningrad, Nesterow) in Nesterow Rajon ( Wabbeln , Stallupönen (Ebenrode) district / East Prussia)
    • Groß Wabbeln (1938–1946 Kleingrenzberg ) in today's Slavsk Rajon (at that time the Niederung (Elchniederung) district / East Prussia), no longer exists today
    • Groß Wabbeln (1938–1946 Winterlinden ) in today's Neman district (then Tilsit-Ragnit district / East Prussia), no longer exists today
