Renato Dall'Ara (director)

Renato Dall'Ara (born April 11, 1925 in Sant'Apollinare ) is an Italian documentary filmmaker and film director .

Life

Dall'Ara was involved in the amateur film sector for many years , where he was represented at international festivals, and directed numerous short films in the 1950s . In 1958 he directed Mobby Jackson , which was shown for the first time in 1961. It was followed by the dramatic film Scano Boa, set in the Po Valley , and two other socially critical films, which, however, were rarely shown. In 1980 he received the commission for the television film Uno strano ragazzo .
