Sant'Apollinare is an Italian commune in the province of Frosinone in the Lazio region with 1872 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019). It is located 139 km southeast of Rome and 61 km southeast of Frosinone .

geography

Sant'Apollinare is located on a hill in the Lirital below the Monte Paolino (320 m), a branch of the Monti Aurunci. In the district of Giunture the Liri joins the Gari to form the Garigliano , the border river to Campania .

The neighboring towns are Cassino , Pignataro Interamna , Rocca d'Evandro ( CE ), San Giorgio a Liri , Sant'Ambrogio sul Garigliano , Sant'Andrea del Garigliano and Vallemaio .
