Wadō (era)
Wadō ( Japanese 和 銅 ) is a Japanese era ( Nengō ) from February 708 to October 715 according to the Gregorian calendar . The previous era name is Keiun , the following era is called Yōrō . The era falls during the reign of the Empress ( Tennō ) Gemmei .
The first day of the Wadō era corresponds to February 7, 708, the last day was October 2, 715. The Wadō era lasted eight years or 2795 days.
