Waddan ( Arabic ودان, DMG Waddān ) is an oasis city in the Sahara in the Libyan municipality of al-Dschufra .
Waddan is located 280 km south of Sirte and 20 km northeast of Hun . It is located at the intersection of the Abu Qurayn Fezzan road on the coast (see Via Balbia) to Sabha and the road from Sirte to Waddan.
